Foundations of Math and Pre-Calculus 10 is a course that builds on concepts learned in Math 9 such as; Real Numbers, Exponents and Polynomial. There are also extensions of Graphing Linear Relations and Solving Linear Systems of Equations. Foundations and Pre-Calculus also builds on previous knowledge of measurements and introduces Right Angled Trigonometry. This course is provincially examinable and is geared towards students prepping for higher level Math course and potentially post secondary.
