The Physical and Health Education (PHE) curriculum aims to empower students to develop a personalized understanding of what healthy living means. It is designed to develop educated citizens who have the knowledge, skills, and understandings they need to be safe, active, and healthy citizens throughout their lives.
Being physically active is an important part of a healthy lifestyle. Physical and Health Education 10 provides students with opportunities to explore physical activities that appeal to their individual interests. Students develop life-long understandings of the importance of physical activity to their mental, emotional and physical well-being. The Prescribed Learning Outcomes for Physical and Health Education can be accessed by clicking on the link . Learning support for students is available both on site and online. New for 2019-2020 students will be able use Apps on their Mobile device to assist in Tracking their physical activity and progress through the course.
Mobile Apps that can be used include: (Nike Run Club, My Fitness Pal, Road Bike, Fitbit, RunKeeper, Strava, Runtastic, AllTrails)
