Graduation Requirements

In order to graduate students must earn a total of 80 credits (16 of which must be at the grade 12 level, including a Language Arts 12) and complete 30 hours of work experience or community service. The following outlines the other requirements:

  • Language Arts 10 (4 credits)
  • Language Arts 11 (4 credits)
  • Language Arts 12 (4 credits)
  • Social Studies 10 (4 credits)
  • Social Studies 11, Civics 11, or BC First Nations 12 (4 credits)
  • Science 10 (4 credits)
  • Science 11 (4 credits)
  • Math 10 (4 credits)
  • Math 11 (4 credits)
  • Physical and Health Education 10 (4 credits)
  • Fine Arts and/or Applied Skill 10, 11 or 12 (4 credits)
  • Career Life Education (4 credits)
  • Graduation Transitions (4 credits)
  • Electives (28 credits required)
